Canadian Forces Recruit School Cornwallis

  I went through CFRS Cornwallis in early 1975 (course 7505), so the barracks & buildings that existed at that time are of my primary interest.  

  Note that barracks names & numbers changed over the years.  

  As the majority of CFB Cornwallis pictures that I have on my site here were submitted to other sites by people who  
  couldn't be bothered to supply dates of when those pictures were taken, in most cases I have no idea when they were taken.

  This page started off as a listing for Cornwallis CFRS Barracks only.  
 
  But when looking at maps & old pictures of Cornwallis, I thought of the places that I would've visited:
  • Barber Shop
  • Drill Hall
  • Firing Range
  • Gymnasium & Pool
  • Hospital (MIR) & Dental Clinic
  • Mess Hall
 
  So I started to add those places to the list below.

And then I thought of the people posted to the base that might stumble upon this page, and the
places where they worked that they might be interested in, so I then added those places too.

  • The last train through CFB Cornwallis was on 25TH April 1988.  
  • The tracks were torn up & removed either 1990 or 1991.  
  • I have seen conflicting information, which said that the last train through CFB Cornwallis was in 1994.
